What we’ve done
- Larger text. Our pages use bigger type than most websites, because squinting at small grey print shouldn’t be part of booking a hearing test.
- Everything works with a keyboard. You can open every menu, read every page and send us a message without touching a mouse.
- A shortcut for screen readers. The first key-press on any page offers a “Skip to content” link, so you don’t have to listen to the whole menu every time.
- Zoom is never blocked. You can enlarge any page as far as your device allows — pinch on a phone, or Ctrl and + on a computer.
- No listening tests. The security check on our contact form never asks you to hear anything — it’s a simple click, and usually invisible.
- Every image has a written description that screen readers can announce.
- We test our newer pages automatically — text visibility, small screens, keyboard use — before they go live.
What isn’t perfect yet
We’re honest about this rather than pretending otherwise:
- About half our pages still run on our older design. Some of them use smaller text and paler colours than we would accept today. We are rebuilding the site page by page, and every rebuilt page meets our current rules.
- Some content comes from other companies — for example the patient-review panels from Doctify and Trustindex. We can’t control how accessible those are, but we’ve labelled them so screen readers can skip past.
- If either of the two videos on our site doesn’t work for you, contact us and we’ll gladly put the information in writing.
If you can’t use the telephone
We’re a hearing clinic — we know a phone call isn’t possible for everyone. You can reach us just as well in writing:
- Send us a message — our contact form works fully with a keyboard and with screen readers.
- Email us at info@viphearingsolutions.co.uk.
- Or simply visit us at any of our three clinics — London — Wimpole Street (57a Wimpole Street, W1G 8YP), Eastcote (121 Field End Road, HA5 1QH) or Brentwood (41 Ongar Road, CM15 9AU) — Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
Whichever you choose, we reply within one working day.
