Yes. Every hearing aid fitting at VIP Hearing Solutions includes a free, no-obligation 30-day home trial. You wear the hearing aids in your everyday life and decide at the end of the 30 days.
Do I have to buy the hearing aids at the end of the trial?
No. There is no obligation to buy and no pressure from us. If they are not right for you, you hand them back.
What happens during the 30 days?
Your audiologist fits and programmes the hearing aids. You wear them at home, at work and out with family. If anything sounds not quite right, book a follow-up and we fine-tune them. On day 30 you decide.

Do I need a hearing test before I can trial hearing aids?
Yes. A hearing assessment comes first, so the hearing aids can be programmed to your hearing. It is the same appointment: assessment, recommendation, then fitting.
How much do the hearing aids cost if I keep them?
Hearing aids are priced as a pair, fitted, with the trial and aftercare included. Our hearing aid prices page explains what is included, and 0% interest-free finance is available.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Every trial can also include a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you decide with complete peace of mind. Your audiologist will explain it at your fitting.
Can I bring a family member to my appointment?
Yes. You are welcome to bring a family member or a friend to any appointment, including your fitting. Many patients do, and it helps to have someone with you when you choose your hearing aids and hear how they are set up.
I already wear hearing aids. Can I trial a newer model?
Yes. If you already wear hearing aids and are thinking of upgrading, you can trial a newer pair for 30 days in the same way: free, at home, with no obligation to buy.
What if I am not happy with the sound?
It is likely that your brain has not heard sounds at a ‘normal’ level for quite a while. Therefore, when you first try a hearing aid, it may sound different compared to what you are used to. The more you wear your hearing aid, the more natural everyday sounds will become as your brain adjusts to the new acoustic input. If you have persevered with the aid but still require additional fine tuning, you are most welcome to book an appointment to come in and have the hearing aid adjusted. Our goal is to give you the most natural and comfortable listening experience.
Visiting from abroad?
In some cases, a hearing aid trial is not always possible, e.g. if you are visiting the UK and are due to travel back before the 30 days are up. In which case, we can fit hearing aids (to be purchased) on the same day as the initial consultation. For peace of mind, we do offer a 30 day money back guarantee to ensure you are completely satisfied with your device.
